Update: Bill Cosby’s Mugshot Released By Police After He’s Sentenced To Prison

Update: Bill Cosby was led in handcuffs after a judge sentenced him to 3-10 years in state prison for sexual assault. Cosby looks downcast in his mugshot, which you can check out in full up top.

The judge in Bill Cosby's sexual assault case has sentenced the famed entertainer to 3-10 years in state prison. According to TMZ

The judge also called the 81-year-old a "sexually violent predator," and it was determined that his name will be on a sex-offender registry sent to neighbors, schools, and victims.

The 81-year-old comedian and actor, who rules to be a "sexual predator", will now be included in a record of sex offenders to be distributed to neighbors and schools.

During the retrial in April 2018, Cosby was charged with three counts of sexual assault for gross abuse, including anesthesia and sexual assault on the director of the women's basketball team at Temple University Andrea Constand in 2004.

Cosby will now travel to state prison, as reported by NPR.

Judge Stephen T. O'Neill, who issued the judgment, reads as follows:

No one is above the law because of where they live, who they are, wealth, fame, celebrities and even philanthropy.
The effects of this, the alienation of friends, pain, pain, nightmares,
She andrea came, civil suit, deposition. I read your statement and heard it from your family, and it is especially devastating to the pimps who passed through this.
Therefore, a high degree of impact is placed on the victim and her family. This thirty-four months has continued. Your time has come.

The Public Prosecution published the full statement of the statement on the victim's effect to the court, which reads as follows:

I had just received my two-month notice at Temple when I met the man I had identified as a mentor and a friend who had been threatened with sex.
Instead of being able to jog and jump pretty much doing anything I wanted physically, during the attack I was paralyzed and completely helpless. I could not move my arms or legs. I could not speak or even stay conscious. I was completely weak, unable to protect myself.
After the assault, I was not sure what had actually happened but the pain spoke volumes. It was overwhelming shame. I was left with self-doubt and confusion about becoming my family or friends as I usually did. I felt completely alone, unable to trust anyone, including myself.

When sexual abuse occurred, I was a young woman full of confidence and looking forward to a bright future with possibilities.
Now, after almost 15 years, I am a middle-aged woman stuck in a detention pattern for most of her life, unable to fully heal or move forward.
Bill Cosby took the beautiful and healthy spirit of youth and crushed it. He stole me from his health and vitality, my open nature, my trust in myself and others.

Though the three charges each carry a maximum possible sentence of 10 years, O'Neill announced Monday that the charges had been merged into one because they all stem from the same event.

Cosby had remained out of prison for the past five months on $1 million bail, and his lawyers said they plan to appeal his convictions.
