The Board of Directors of Expo Center Sharjah announced the change of the date of the 48th and 49th sessions of the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show to April 2021, which were scheduled to be launched at the end of September.


This was based on the center's interest. For the safety of exhibitors, visitors and workers at the exhibition due to global developments related to Coronavirus,


The decision to postpone comes after extensive consultations with all key stakeholders and with participating countries.


Expo Center Sharjah affirmed its keenness during the last period to communicate with the countries participating in the exhibition and monitor the latest health developments in these countries, pointing out that the decision to postpone came as a result of their desire after coordination and consultation with all concerned authorities and taking into account the health conditions that different countries of the world are going through. The early announcement of the date of organizing the exhibition in its new version will enable industry leaders to plan in advance to present the event in size and nature


Expo Center Sharjah is expected to be launched in 2021, which will boost the recovery efforts of the jewelry and watches industry in the region in the post-Coronavirus period. The success and turnout that reflects the status of this largest specialized event in the region, stressing that all contracts concluded with exhibitors are still valid and can be transferred to the next year.


In addition, the new date will avoid the current restrictions that global air traffic is going through and allow exhibitors to meet old and new customers again. It will be an ideal opportunity for merchants and entrepreneurs to close deals, build partnerships, and establish future transactions.
