Two utility workers were killed and two others were injured when a helicopter, inspecting power lines in upstate New York, caught fire Tuesday, officials said.
New York State Police told WCAX the crash happened shortly after 4 pm. In Beekmantown, located about 10 miles north of Plattsburgh.
The helicopter, carrying four people, flew between 65 and 80 feet from the ground while the crew was working on power lines, and clashed with power cords and then caught fire quickly and crashed.

Two of the workers who survived the accident were taken to a nearby hospital where they were later discharged.
The spokesman for the New York Power Authority (NYPA) told WCAX that the crew is working for Northline Utilities, which maintains power lines and the cause of the collapse is still under investigation.
