Samsung’s $2000 Galaxy Fold phone is breaking for some users after a  few days of use.

The new phone is made up of two touch screens, which can be opened to the size of a large tablet, or fold it to a smaller and more compact phone.

But according to a report in the British newspaper The Independent Wednesday (April 17th), Revealed that the evaluation versions of the phone were already broken, and only one day after use in some cases.

According to Dieter Bonn, a reporter at "The Verge", "a small bump in the folding line with his phone caused a little buckling to the screen.

It was sad to discover that only two days after receiving the most disappointing and evaluation phone that Buckling pressed hard on the screen to break it in the end.

Mark Gurman, a Bloomberg reporter, also experienced a bad experience in using the evaluation phone.

Gorman published pictures of his phone on Twitter, saying it was "completely broken and unusable after only two days of use."

In published images, one side of the dual screen looks completely black.

Gorman said the cause of the problem may have been removed by the protective layer / film that comes with the phone.

"Samsung says you are not supposed to remove it. I removed it, not knowing you're not supposed to (consumers will not know either). It appeared removable in the left corner, so I took it off. I believe this contributed to the problem".Gurman wrote on Twitter

Steve Kovach, the Tech editor at CNBC, also published another assessment that also drew attention to major operational problems in the new phone.

In a video posted by Kovach on Twitter, one side of the screen flashes constantly, while the other side appears to be completely off.

Kovach said this problem occurred only one day after use.

Marques Brownlee of "MKBHD" confirmed, He also got a replacement unit after peeling off the outer layer (which, again, was not our issue.

Samsung released an official release dealing with display issues with the upcoming Galaxy Fold:

  • A limited number of early Galaxy Fold media samples have been provided for review. We have received some reports on the main offer on the submitted samples. We will inspect these units individually to determine the cause of the order.
  • Separately, some reviewers have reported removing the top layer of the screen, causing screen corruption. The Galaxy Fold's main screen features a higher protective layer, part of the screen structure designed to protect your screen from accidental scratches. Removing the protective layer or adding adhesives to the main screen may cause damage. We will ensure that this information is clearly communicated to our customers.

Samsung announced the release of the new Galaxy Fold on February 20 and is expected to be available to the public starting this month on April 26

Before the new phone was released, Samsung defended its durability, claiming it would be able to hold a fold and open it two hundred thousand times without breaking.
