A new video showed the moment an American teenager from Bradbury, California, confronted a large bear Her backyard garden to save her dogs.

According to Newsweek, 17-year-old Hailey was at her California home when she suddenly heard her dogs barking vigorously.

When she ran outside to discover that her dogs were in the midst of a confrontation with a brown bear mother protecting her cubs along a concrete wall in her backyard.

The teen ran towards the bear who was swinging on the wall and attacked her dogs and quickly pushed the bear away from the wall before catching her dogs and directing them home - the entire confrontation was recorded on CCTV tape from outside her home.

The woman who posted the video said, "Hailey and the dogs are fine." She added that one of the dogs "scratched a little" but the injury was not serious.

She said the family intends to erect "higher walls," according to a comment on TikTok.
