Man sets Guinness World Record by slicing 26 watermelons on own stomach
NEW YORK (Reuters) - A man has set a world record in the Guinness World Records to cut most melons in half on his belly in 60 seconds.
Ashrita Foreman, who has set the Guinness Book of World Records 35 years ago, cut 26 songs in one minute, six times what Guinness World Records said needed a record.
"Things went well," Foreman said. "My first response is that I am satisfied because I did not kill myself, and the second is exhilarating because it is not only a polite record, but also something invented and now there and other people can challenge it."
"They got to the rules and said I had to cut at least 20 pieces of watermelon, which I thought was actually a bit high, because I thought 15 would be safe, but 20 would pay a little. Fortunately we had a good team and everything worked well. , "He said.
Foreman said the risk control involves a combination of the right target and the right amount of power.
"When I went, I had to organize how hard it was to hit the code, so I do it but I try to be very conscious of where the blade is. I noticed at one point or two that it was too close to my arm." I had to make an adjustment, "Foreman said.
