Beijing will increase imports of US goods

China agreed during trade talks with the United States, to increase its imports of US goods and strengthen cooperation in the field of intellectual property protection, according to reported Friday Xinhua News Agency

The agency noted that the two sides "attach great importance to the protection of intellectual property and the transfer of technology issues, and agreed to strengthen cooperation." Beijing also agreed in the talks Wednesday and Thursday to increase imports of "US agricultural products and energy products and industrial goods," according to Xinhua news agency.
