Mexico announces discovery of largest oil field since 1987

The Mexican authorities have announced the discovery of a large oil field, the largest find in the country since 1987.

The field on land in the coastal state of Tabasco, on the Gulf of Mexico, contains proven, potential, and potential needs of 1 million barrels of ore equivalent.
