British Crown Prince Charles infected with Coronavirus (COVID-19)
British media reported on Wednesday that Prince Charles was confirmed to have contracted the new Coronavirus (COVID-19), which has infected thousands of people in Britain.
The sun newspaper reported, citing a statement issued by the royal residence "Clarence House", that the prince showed minor symptoms of the virus, and he is in good health and had to continue working from home pending recovery.
In the same vein, Duchess of Cornwall underwent tests, and it was found that they were not infected with the virus, but it will isolate itself for fourteen days according to medical guidelines.
The statement issued by the British Crown Prince's office did not indicate how he contracted the disease, given the large number of posts he had made in the past few weeks.
As for Buckingham Palace, said in a statement that "Queen Elizabeth last met Prince Charles on 12 March, before the earliest time he could have been a carrier of the infection."
Earlier, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) was the greatest threat facing the country, and he appealed to the population to stay in their homes and not go out except for necessity.
This comes as more than 8,000 people have been infected and 422 have died in the UK after the bloodiest day so far as an additional 88 people have died from coronavirus.
