British PM Boris Johnson admitted to hospital for tests
The British government issued an urgent statement today, Monday, in which it said that Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, spent last night in hospital after being transferred to it for several tests 10 days after he was infected with the Coronavirus.
"The prime minister will continue to lead the government, but he will undergo several other tests at the hospital today," the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities & Local Government. Robert Jenrick said in a statement published by the BBC.
Boris Johnson said On Twitter:"Last night, on the advice of my doctor, I went into hospital for some routine tests as I’m still experiencing coronavirus symptoms. I’m in good spirits and keeping in touch with my team, as we work together to fight this virus and keep everyone safe".

Yesterday evening, Johnson's office said that his hospitalization was a precautionary step taken on the advice of a doctor.
