The UAE has decided to close all commercial centres, and shopping malls open markets in the country in light of the widespread spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

the Ministry of Health and Prevention and the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority, NCEMA decided to "close all commercial centers, shopping centers and open markets that include selling fish, vegetables and meat, except for fish, vegetables and meat markets that deal with supplies and wholesale companies. It was also decided to restrict restaurants not to receive customers and only satisfied With delivery service and home delivery. ”According to (Emirates News Agency).

The closing decision excludes food stores such as supermarkets, grocery stores, and pharmacies. All restaurants will be banned from sitting inside their locations, and will only receive and deliver orders.

The review, if necessary, will continue for two weeks, and implementation will begin 48 hours after it is announced.

The UAE Ministry of Interior also urged all residents and visitors in the country to commit to not leaving their homes except for necessity or for work reasons, noting the importance of commitment to putting face masks in public places and following health guidelines.

The number of coronavirus infections so far in the country has reached 153 as of this writing, in addition to two deaths due to infection with the virus.
