Larry King, legendary talk show host, dies at 87

The family of the legendary American broadcaster Larry King confirmed that he died in a hospital in Los Angeles on Saturday morning, at the age of 88, after a long struggle with illness.

Larry King's Twitter account posted a condolence statement issued by the Ora TV company whose founder was the broadcaster.


The statement recalled Kimig's accomplishments during his 63-year career, including a wonderful interview with thousands of prominent people, including US and foreign presidents.

Larry King, who for years had suffered from serious problems, celebrated his 87th birthday in hospital on November 19.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Larry King had been transferred to the hospital again, after he was diagnosed with the emerging coronavirus, and he was connected to artificial respirators.

Larry King, who gained wide fame for presenting a personal program on the air on CNN during a period between 1985 and 2010, has been collaborating since 2013 with RT.
