Shawn Richard Christy Is Arrested in Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Shawn Christy escaped fugitive accused of threatening Donald Trump and law enforcement officials in Ohio. Resulting in a five-day chase.

On 19 June, a federal warrant was issued for Christy’s arrest after he wrote a post on Facebook that threatened John M. Morganelli, the district attorney of Northampton County, Pennslyvania, and Trump.

The Ohio Patrol newspaper in Ohio said Christie, 26, was wanted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), US advisers and the CIA for multiple crimes. He was considered armed and dangerous.

Officials said the police helped enforce the law during his capture.

According to a press release earlier from Murphy in the northern region of Ohio, Christy, of McAndrew, Pennsylvania, has several arrest warrants in Pennsylvania for burglary, violation of the test and failure to appear in case of aggravated assault. Christie threatened to use "the full lethal force on any law enforcement official who tries to protest me." He issued a federal arrest warrant on June 19 for Shawn Christy regarding Facebook's threats to Northampton County lawyers. He was also charged with online threats against President Donald Trump.

Who is Shawn Christy?

US guards did not say at Friday's press conference whether Christie had hurt, colluded or had a cell phone with anyone this week, saying it was being considered.

Pennsylvania issued orders for Christie's alleged burglary, violation exam and failure to appear for a dramatic attack case.

Authorities say Christy stole a truck on Sunday from the McDow County, Pennsylvania, and fled after he left Sunday on Highway 71 in Mansfield.

"He was caught with a firearm on him and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is handling that and he will face more charges on this firearm," said US Marshal Brian Fitzgibbon.

Shawn Christy has been a fugitive since June 19 after allegedly threatening John Morganley, a lawyer for Northampton County, Pennsylvania, and Trump in a Facebook site that has since been deleted.

"Keep it up Murgangli, I promise that I will put a bullet in your head as soon as I put one on top of President Donald J. Trump," alleged suspect Christy

The search for Christie began on a Sunday afternoon when he learned law enforcement that he was in Ohio.

U.S. Marshal Ann Murphy said  that he is facing “numerous charges” and would first appear in a federal court in Ohio on Monday. The Marshal then returns him to Pennsylvania to face charges.

"Dog the Bounty Hunter", named Duane Chapman, said earlier this week that he would participate in the search for Christie.

But in the end, a different kind of dog got credit for the seizure.
